Matt and his wife Kate have two children, Anderson and Brooks. Matt firmly believes that the future of each child in our community is of utmost importance to him, and is the primary reason he is seeking election to the board.
Matt has helped his wife Kate paint classrooms, organize textbook closets, mentor her students and has said countless prayers for our educators’ safety and wellbeing. Because of his firsthand knowledge of his spouse’s experience as both a public school teacher and administrator, Matt understands that being an educator is not merely a profession, but a calling.
Our teachers change lives, develop the young people of tomorrow, and transform our children into difference makers.
